The Russians called meat, milk, fish and seafood the most expensive goods over the past month. The increase in prices for them was noticed by a third of the participants in the FOS survey. Respondents also noted a noticeable increase in prices for medicines and housing and communal services

More than a third of Russians have noticed a significant increase in meat prices, according to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM). Its results are cited by RBC. The study involved 1,500 people from 104 settlements in 53 subjects of Russia.


The survey showed that 35% of Russians noticed a rise in meat prices. Almost a third of the respondents drew attention to the increase in prices for milk and dairy products, as well as for fish and seafood (29% each). 23% of respondents announced an increase in the price of bread, 20% - an increase in the price of eggs, 18% - an increase in prices for sugar, as well as vegetables and fruits, 16% each for vegetable oil, cereals and pasta. 12% of the respondents said that the price of alcohol has risen.


Among non-food products, most of the Russians who took part in the survey noticed an increase in the cost of medicines (33%), and among services - an increase in prices for housing and communal services (38%).
